OUR PROGRAMS
For our elementary students, SCY El is a place of all-out fun with relay races, original group games, and crazy contests! The students will also learn about larger concepts like friendship, peace-making, forgiveness, prayer, gratitude, taking care of our world, etc. through lessons and stories.
Middle school can be one of the hardest parts of life, and we want to help students engage socially and spiritually through the lens of FUN. Our middle school students come together for SCY Mid, a night of wacky games, contests, and an engaging discussion. Weekly breakfast opportunities before school and exciting monthly events & annual trips are also offered. Our middle school leaders pursue a connection with the students as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence.
High School is a time of new freedoms, excitement, and busyness combined with preparation and thoughts about the future. SCY Hi is a welcoming place for students to take a break from their crazy weeks, hang out with other students, process current events and meaningful topics, while “letting loose” to channel their inner kid. Our volunteers are excited to intentionally pursue and walk with these students where they are at in life.

Rest assured that ALL students are welcome at SCY and will be encouraged to LIVE BIG and LOVE BETTER. No matter where your student spends most of their energy — athletics, academics, music or other extracurriculars — our staff and volunteers are excited to walk with them through life and to love them well along the way.
SCY has three separate programs for elementary students, middle school students and high school students. Each program meets weekly for games and discussions with additional weekly and monthly social activities for the older students (middle and high school programs).
No, please arrange to drop-off and pick-up your student for weekly SCY nights. Transportation will be provided from the building for other FLY@SCY and SCY HI events away from the building, depending on the specific activity.
We take the safety of our students very seriously, so we take every precaution and incorporate as many reasonable safety measures as possible.
We are always looking for quality & committed weekly adult volunteers! Occasional extra help for larger events are also needed. Or, you can support us financially through monthly or one-time donations. Please contact us for more information.
We believe faith is important and that we’re all hard-wired for meaning and connection. We follow the way of Jesus, but we’re not into pushing our faith on others. We hope students can explore their own faith in an inclusive environment while they’re at SCY.
* A SCY HI EXCLUSIVE *
We often give candy to students as they depart a SCY night or event. Also, if we have a pizza party or some gathering that involves a meal, you will be aware of the food being offered to your student through the details on our event calendar. Please make us aware of food allergies your student has as soon as possible.
Of course! Please feel free to stop in before or after any SCY night or event to meet our leaders. The SCY Staff would also love to get to know you, so please give us a call or stop by the SCY office. Better yet, we’d love to meet you for coffee to get to know your family and story, and vice-versa!
